Welcome Bonnie.

This newborn little princess was so delicate and precious, and I couldn’t stop exclaiming at how perfect her tiny little features were all shoot! And these beautiful features sure do run in this family, just look at how adorable Bonnie’s big sister Avery is!

Both were fantastic little models for their very first sibling shoot! Although Bonnie was a little bit of  a wriggle worm she still pulled out complete and utter cuteness for her pictures don’t you think?!

Enjoy your sneak peek Kent & Suz!

So this past weekend I was lucky enough to take part in a workshop by Erin Elizabeth! Soooo exciting!!! It was amazing to take part in this and learn some creative insight from someone else’s perspective.

Erin is amazing with babies and she made the whole process look seamlessly smooth and easy…probably helped in part by having 3 of the most coroporative and adorable bubs from Geelong be our newborn models for the day.

I have to say i walked out of the workshop with a head full of newly imparted knowledge, a deeper respect for the art of newborn photography and a burning desire to delve right into it myself!

I met some lovely girls at the workshop, and funnily enough when Erin asked us what cameras we all had (for setting purposes) we ALL held up Canons!

Well, it’s no secret that lately I’ve been a bit preoccupied! I have been working super hard to get my website ready to showcase, and I am proud to say, it’s done!!! I firmly believe things happen for a reason, and the path I am on now is one that makes me wake up each day with a smile in my heart. Putting together my passion for all things photography, and (limited) technology know how has not always been easy. Let me just say thank god for video tutorials. I have definitely learned a lot over the last couple of weeks, and I have added to my I.T and design skills!

There are a lot of little things that need doing that you just don’t think about, or simply aren’t aware of, when you decide to strike out, grab that inner courage, and go for it. My list of things to do just seemed to grow bigger every day, but I tackled each task with excitement and I really believe it opened up my creative window a heck of a lot. I get to be ME, and I get to show others what this means, and that is super awesome in itself. If you get to put your heart and soul into doing something you love, then it’s not a job, and you can count yourself as one of the lucky few who wake up each day with vitality and exuberance for life. And I’m finally happy to say, I’m one of the lucky few 🙂

Bit by bit I have created and built my brand, but I haven’t done it alone… I’ve had help along the way. From the very start from my dad who gave me my first camera, to Chinelle at Branded Love who gave me a fantastic base to work from, to my family for letting me constantly stick my camera in their faces for the past handful of years while I turned a hobby into something more, to my beautiful friends who give me support and feedback, and to my partner who spoils me on birthdays and at xmas by giving me ‘this is the last one I swear’ lenses! I couldn’t have done it without any of them, they are wonderful people themselves who all have a drive and a passion of their own and that is something motivating and inspirational to me. It makes me want to work harder, and I’d just like to say thanks for all your support and encouragement!
